We have always considered our company's greatest asset
to be our staff!! Read below to get to know just some of our amazing staff
members.

Georgianne Vinicombe - Founder and Owner
Georgianne started the company out of a spare bedroom of her rented condo. “Not
knowing much about what I was getting into was a good thing for me. If I had
known how hard a business it was, I probably would have been too scared to do
it”. Georgianne holds two Associates degrees in Management and Small Business
with a concentration in Advertising and Marketing - which she still considers
her first love. “Just after getting married, I was looking for a way to earn
some money while continuing my education and thought it would be a fun idea to
clean houses”, she says. Two years and 65 customers later she was bitten by the
entrepreneurship bug. After reading a book on easy to start businesses, she
thought balloon event decorating and delivering flowers to corporate offices for
the their lobbies on Mondays might be fun. Monday Morning Flower & Balloon Co
was born!
Georgianne is self proclaimed small business fanatic. “I love everything about
business and find it a challenge coming up with new ways to sell my product”.
She loves meeting with other small business owners and truly believes that there
are more ways to market a company than there are hours in the day. The thing she
loves most about the flower business is how flowers “touch” people. She believes
that flowers show love from the heart, no matter what the occasion. She
especially enjoys her work with couples planning their wedding. “I believe every
bride remembers their bridal bouquet, it makes an impact, it becomes part of the
flowers they will love forever”, she explains. Georgianne’s favorite flowers are
roses and insists that she is no flower snob. “There really isn’t a flower I
don’t like!!”.

Kevin Vinicombe - Co-Owner
In his former life Kevin has worked as an Accountant and Controller in the
manufacturing field. He has his undergraduate degree from Stockton College and
his Masters in Finance from Rider University. Six years ago, his wife,
Georgianne fed him a nice meal and a few drinks before asking him to consider
putting his career on hold to help with the flower shops. Luckily for Georgianne
he said yes. “ I can’t say enough about what an amazing asset Kevin has been the
company” says, Georgianne. “ I don’t know any other flower shop owners that get
the detailed reports that I get”. Kevin brings a tremendous amount of knowledge
and professionalism to the day to day operations at the shops. But lest you
think that Kevin is an ivory tower! Kevin can be found delivering bridal
bouquets, building balloon arches and stringing cable for the computer network.
Kevin has been a magician since the age of 8 and still finds time to perform for
carnivals and birthday parties on occasion. “In my retirement I hope to be able
to perform more” says Kevin. “When I don’t perform, I really miss it but right
now I’m needed at the shops”. Kevin and wife Georgianne really enjoy working
together. ‘We worked together at a movie theater while dating back in 1982. We
were destined to own our company and blend our personal lives with our business
ones”. Kevin especially loves the stolen kisses when the staff isn’t looking but
let’s face it, they are probably used to it by now. Some things never change,
over 25 years of stolen kisses….Who says couples can’t work together? Georgianne
and Kevin prove that wrong each and every day.

Arlene Vinicombe - Office Assistant
In a former career, Arlene worked as a Legal Assistant for American Reinsurance in Princeton. After her retirement she was coaxed into joining the Monday Morning team by her son, Kevin. Arlene’s calm and professional nature was an asset to the company first as a sales associate and then later as an assistant to Kevin in the office.
Arlene and her husband John love to travel. “I work to travel. It’s an incentive to save my pennies!” They have traveled to exotic locations such as Croatia, Alaska, Panama, England, France and Italy. 2007 was a special year because Georgianne and Kevin joined them on a trip through Tuscany, one of Arlene’s personal favorite trips of all time. When they aren’t traveling or working they can be found relaxing on their back deck or spending time with their Grandson Mark and their new Granddaugher Mary Ann!

Rocio Castro - Designer
Rosie, as we fondly call her, came by way of her sister Reina and also started as a shop assistant. Lucky for us, Rocio shares similar talents to her sister and was a natural for floral design. Rocio's special gift is that she can make the most gorgeous floral arrangements using just about any mixture of blooms we put in front of her! This comes in very handy when the shop is busy and there is just a bit of this and a bit of that left in the cooler. Her constant smile, not to mention her knack for organizing and cleaning make her a genuine pleasure to work with.
In addition to her love for arranging flowers, she loves spending time with her son and shopping. Her favorite flowers are sunflowers, orchids, lisianthus and white spider mums.

Norman Holt - Designer
"I'm happy to be working for old friends, once again", says Norman as he returns to us as a full time employee after helping Georgianne out years ago for Valentine's Day week. What can be said of Norman is that he has a huge heart, makes us all laugh and is an incredible floral designer! As a 3rd generation florist, Norman has been the owner of 4 local flower shops over the years. He's designed in New York City, Philadelphia as well as Palm Beach Florida. He even taught floral design at Mercer County Community College and has been designing for 45 years. We're guessing his mom and dad started him young!!
From a huge family with 8 brothers and sisters, he has over 20 Nieces and Nephews along with many Great Nieces and Nephews! Needless to say, his family keeps him busy and we're happy they share him with us!

Samantha Monday - Designer
Meet one of our newest Designers. Even though Samantha is young, she's been working in flower shops since she was 14 years old and brings much talent and experience to her floral designs. Samantha's wish is to someday achieve her AIFD certification, the highest credentials and florist can have. It's no doubt she'll do someday meet her goal because she describes herself as having "a great love of the floral industry" and it shows in each and every one of her floral designs.
In her spare time, Sam loves spending time being active and especially loves fishing. Her favorite flower is the Gardenia and with a last name like Monday, Monday Morning Flowers is delighted to have her as part of our talented team!

Theresa Trojan - Designer and Sales
Monday Morning Flowers welcomes back Theresa in to our floral family. Theresa joined us as the shop manager of our new Yardley location
back in 1998. Theresa rejoins us after 4 years away and now works in both our Princeton and Yardley shops. "I've wanted to work with
flowers for as long as I can remember and even after 23 years in the business, I still love it", says Theresa. "Mr. Rock, my instructor
at Bucks County Technical High School, was a major inspiration to me". Theresa studied both Flori-culture and Horticulture for 3 years
during High School. She was even president of her 11th grade class and a member of the FFA.
Theresa is happy to be back at Monday Morning Flowers . "The staff at Monday Morning Flowers are a great group of people and
professional in everything they do", she says.
When she's not working, she loves spending time with her husband and two children, Brian and Sara. Georgianne and Kevin remember Sara
as a little girl who loved dolphins. It's hard hard to believe she's all grown up and going off to college this year!! Theresa also
loves caring for their family pets, swimming and gardening. Her favorite flowers are freesia and gardenias but thinks that all flowers
are beautiful and unique!

Sheryl Perry - Shop Coordinator
Sheryl came to us looking to broaden her skills in the areas of floral design
as well as overall shop management. While in high school, Sheryl discovered
her love of everything floral and studied floriculture while there. Being a
member of the FFA (Future Farmers of America) and winning various floral design
competitions are among some of her proudest memories of High School. Sheryl

with friends and making people laugh. “I love working with a group of people
who genuinely care about their customers and their product”, she says. “It is
a great feeling knowing that I am a part of something that puts a smile on someone’s
face”.
Sheryl’s future aspirations are to be a Manager someday and with her strong
drive to succeed, can do attitude and love of the industry there is no doubt
that she will someday do just that! Sheryl’s favorite flowers are Black Magic

three elements in a lot of her custom design work.

Heena Kothary - Sales Associate
If you call Monday Morning Flowers and are greeted by a sweet, British accent
that is long time employee Heena! Heena is the back bone of the customer service
department and is one of the most patient, caring people you will ever meet.

the flowers drew her to change careers and we are so glad she did! “Just to see
all the wonderful flowers makes my day”, she says. “I really love my job at
Monday Morning Flowers”. Heena loves many flowers but her favorites are hybrid
delphinium and hydrangeas.
Heena and her husband have two gorgeous children, a boy and a girl that are
three years apart in age. “My son and daughter are each so unique”. She is
enjoying watching them grow up. She and her family love to travel, especially

enjoyed a fantastic trip to India to see her brother get married.

"I like coming to work!!" is Tina's response when asked what she likes about her job. Tina loves working with all the beautiful flowers and is in charge of keeping them fresh and organized. An extremely hard worker who's spirit never waivers, even when confronted with 70 cases of flowers that need to be unpacked and hydrated. The boxes of flowers literally tower over her but with determination and grace she tackles each box, one by one. Tina came to us by way of Rocio and Reina and she's been a great addition to the Monday Morning Team.
Tina loves spending time with her family in Guatemala and her favorite flowers are sunflowers, mini carnations, roses, alstroemeria and lisianthus.

Melissa first became aware of her love for flowers after attending her first Philadelphia Flower Show in 2004 and her dream is to open and manage her own flower shop someday. Reina Castro - Designer On April 17th, 2009 Monday Morning Flowers suffered a tremendous loss with the tragic and sudden death of our beloved Reina. Reina was a huge and generous spirit and anyone that knew her loved her instantly. She was not only a talented designer at our shop, she was part of our family. There will be forever a hole in each of us now that she is no longer with us. Our deepest sympathies go out to her beloved sister, Rocio who not only worked at her side at the flower shop but was also her best friend. We are thinking of her two beautiful, young daughters and her heartbroken parents who must now make sense of her loss. Please read below the bio that Reina helped us write about her.....
Reina started at Monday Morning Flowers as shop help and quickly learned
everything she needed to know about flowers. A hard worker and a natural talent,
Reina especially loves making bridal bouquets and floral centerpieces. Her face
lights up when she sees a bride holding a bouquet that she has created. “What
makes me feel good about my job is that I’m doing what I love”, she says.
Reina has two beautiful daughters and loves being a mother. She enjoys watching
them learn and in turn is learning from them. Reina’s favorite flower is the
sunflower and uses them in as many of her custom arrangements as she can!!
